The archaeological site of the Greve Castle is an exceptional place and still very well preserved.
La Greve Castle is a private property located near La Roche sur Yon, between the municipalities of La Ferrière and Saint Martin des Noyers, in the center of the Vendée Department.
The Greve Castle, built in the 15th century, is one of the few medieval castle still standing in the Vendée. It is still very complete: Many elements of medieval architecture are preserved, as well as remarkable elements (frame of the master tower, mullioned windows, coussiege, pavement, tower remains, spiral staircase, monumental vaulted cellar, medieval chimneys, many common ones…).
EXCEPTIONAL OPENING - Paid entry (without reservation):

• Morning €3: free visit from 10am to 12pm or guided tour (10am-11am or 11am-12pm)
• Afternoon €3: free visit from 1pm to 6pm
  Two large parking on site.
