Guided walk in the Fuilet Tuiliers and potters hamlets: Saturday 17 September at 3pm: Free – Duration: 1h30 Accessible for children Departure at 14h45 from the Maison du Potier
Through this walk, Jean-François Nauleau archaeologist at INRAP, will take you back in time. You will discover in the hamlet of Rimonerie, a specific architecture, an old “standing” Foulonneau oven and many other curiosities. In the hamlet of Les Recoins, you can marvel at ancient ovens and other architectural elements typical of an old pottery village. In case of rain, a solution will be provided at the House of the Potter, in the form of exchanges on the theme.

During the European Heritage Days, the Potter’s House also offers:
✅ The F(USEFUL) exhibition of ceramicist Quentin Marais
✅ Photographer Gérard Champion’s “Les Mains de Magali” exhibition
✅ Self-guided tour of the museum space, explanatory cartels and film tracing the different stages of making a pot. The children will become real ceramic potter apprentices and will discover the history of clay while having fun with the activity booklet offered at the reception.
