This megalithic monument has become a must-see site of local heritage. One of its funerary chambers houses a hidden treasure!

Built by Neolithic societies around 4,300 BCE,
this monument inscribed with historical monuments is one of the best preserved megalithic sites of the region.
Rarely open to visitors, come and discover it and walk in the footsteps of the first sedentary farmers.
Through a photographic retrospective you can dive into 10 years of archaeological research from the excavation to the restoration of the tumulus of Dissignac.

Built between 4000 and 3800 BC, this megalithic monument presents, after restoration in 1970, the appearance of a dry stone mound of about 25 meters in diameter. It consists of two adjoining tombs, each consisting of a room (dolmen) preceded by an access corridor.
