Nestled in lush greenery and vineyards, the town of Margon is distinguished by its 13th century castle listed as a Historic Monument and its park labeled «Remarkable Gardens», but also by the church of Saint-Christophe from the 12th century with a magnificent listed altarpiece.
Margon is part of the Association of Circular Villages, a little-known Romanesque art typical of the region.
