Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, also known as the Pays de Cize, is the region of Lower Navarre that revolves around the village of Saint-Jean-Pied-Port, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages in France
Bordered by the Spanish border on one side and the valley of Saint-Etienne de Baïgorry on the other, this region is crossed by the road to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle and the GR 10\. It is also the country of the PDO Irouléguy, whose vineyards can be admired on a terrace on the mountainside.
