Discover our ancestors!

On August 3, 1908, the first near-complete skeleton of a Neanderthal and its burial were exposed. This discovery is a world-famous reference in prehistory and an essential milestone in the history of humanity.
The Neanderthal Museum offers a guided tour around this major discovery and around human evolution. You will thus be able to understand the bases of our evolution, as well as of prehistory and finally understand who the Neanderthal Man was.
