For more than 60 years, men have worked, day after day, in the heart of the mines near which Urêka now stands. It is to these pioneers and their activity that the site pays tribute, tracing in a playful and educational way the history of the exploitation of this natural resource, contained in the Limousin soil for more than 200 million years.
Dive into the depths of mining through a unique scenography: a 3D film on the origin of uranium, a mining journey from the prospector’s tent to the extraction plant and a reconstruction of an underground construction site.
