Museum run by the AMITHEIM Association (friends of printing techniques and history), founded in 1980.
Heirs of Gutenberg and Senefelder, the members of the association aim to: • search for documents and tools, as a testimony of the past of printing; • safeguard the professional heritage; • Create a link with the future in order to transmit the love of the profession through educational workshops and artists' workshops; • Live and bring to life the heritage and memory of the professions in the printing and printing industries.
The museum has a park of more than 150 machines. Everything is printed. Artists and cultural actors participate in days of action and demonstrations aimed at young public, school, students in the field of arts and graphic arts, associations or private; and carry out projects accompanied and supervised by professionals, publishers, journalists, teachers, printers, typographers, lithographers, engravers, artists.
