According to legend, the Tower of Roy de Sainte-Livrade-sur-Lot would be a vestige of a castle built by Richard Cœur de Leo. More surely, she(it) is a member(part) of vestiges of the medieval surrounding wall(speaker) which surrounded the city. A ditch(gap) fed with water by two streams would have preceded this wall. It can be, according to a last hypothesis, about the house - strong of a Lord of vicinity protecting the city.
