Reading show: "Gilbert Sore, a free man under the pines."
Come discover the unpublished poems of Gilbert Sore, poet-teacher testerin of the early twentieth century. Let yourself be seduced by the staging and musical improvisations of this show.
Gilbert Sore, a teacher and poet, wrote extensively about his city and country in the Arcachon Basin during the first half of the 20th century. But he has also, throughout a rich, active and committed life, witnessed, through his personal experiences, events of his time.
The show presented here presents several readings of unpublished texts, poems and excerpts from press articles. These readings, orchestrated by the director Philippe Vialèles and presented by the author’s little daughter, will be accompanied by musical interludes prepared by two testerins musicians, Thierry Beaugendre and Francis Pédemay. With the friendly participation of Philippe Laveau, president of the association Lire and Delire(s) and Nicole and Jacques Léglise, respectively responsible for the associations ASPIT and AUPORT.
This event is supported by Arcachon Basin History and Tradition (HTBA).
