The Temple of Anglade, a Protestant place of worship, is part of a lasting heritage both because of its age -126 years - and because of its social function: to be a place of meetings, sharing, education and history.

The temple of Anglade, a Protestant place of worship, was built in several stages. In 1891, the 150 parishioners welcomed a growing number of faithful; the Consistory of the Reformed Church of Bordeaux decided to build an annex in this commune. According to the registers of deliberations of the Consistory, the inauguration of the temple took place on January 31, 1892 "in the presence of a large and collected audience" The bell tower was raised in a second time, in 1896, taking up the architectural model of the Catholic churches, with a bell tower on the front. Built in cut stone, it is 13 metres high and adorned on its western façade with a carved Gospel extract from Genesis "This is the house of God". The bell was installed only in 1899 and inaugurated by pastor Jean Cadène on Easter day.
