Exceptional opening of the Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Richet church. This 12th century church is located in the heart of the Landes forest. Surrounded by its cemetery, it contains remains of 15th century wall paintings. It is always a stop for pilgrims on the road to Santiago de Compostela.
The church is listed as a Historic Monument and has been closed for 50 years.
The association of the Friends of the Richet Church will ensure a permanence and will inform visitors about the history of the church.
