The association was created on 21 November 2014 and its premises inaugurated on 1 October 2016. It is a space presenting, in the form of an exhibition hall and a living museum, the local weaving and its associated activities. It is a place of memory tracing the economic activity that has structured the life and the social link of the commune and of the whole Aquitain massif in general: the gemmage, its practice, its history, the social struggles of the residents, its decline and its hope of rebirth. The team of volunteers welcomes you around its former sheepfold: visit that includes different workshops of animation (demonstration of gemmage, history and management of the forest, current use of the gem).
