The ruins of the Peyrassoulat forge, its majestic plane trees and the beautiful Tardoire that flows at its feet... Follow the guides along the water, they will transport you to the industrial history of the river, and the natural environments you will cross will have no secrets for you! On the way back, we offer a shared meal, then you can extend your evening with a traditional concert/ball hosted by Nicolas Peuch in the light of the torches. Dare to dance a few steps by the river!

15h-18h: commented loop along the Tardoire, from 8 years old. Obligatory boots. Provide fit for walking.
18h-19h30: shared meal in Peyrassoulat. Bring food, drinks and cutlery, and come share our buffet on the site!

In the meanders of Peyrassoulat are hidden treasures. The Peyrassoulat site is classified as a Natural Area of Ecological, Faunistic and Floristic Interest, thanks to 3 hybrid plane trees from the West and a plane tree from the East, and 4 yew trees whose branches form a remarkable vegetal arch. One of the plane trees is classified, with 40 m wingspan and 6 m circumference. The property is that of an old forge, whose activity ceased in 1920\. It supplied steel to the navy of Ruelle in the Charente.
The remains of these ruins emerge in the middle of an abundant vegetation, nourished by the river Tardoire which flows below. It is in what was once a garden that were planted plane trees and yew trees, about 500 years ago. Forgotten, they made themselves comfortable and spread out to the delight of the visitor and form a magnificent plant theatre.
