You can admire, among other things, a portrait of Charles de Foucauld made by Georgette Dupouy in 1959 after she visited the Hoggar desert, where Charles de Foucauld spent the last years of her life.

The Georgette Dupouy Museum is located in the heart of the city of Dax, Place du Présidial, between the Hot Fountain and the Cathedral. This museum is a private museum, created and managed by an association law 1901 in partnership with the City of Dax.
It presents, in a large, modern and warm room, a panel representative of the atypical and endearing work of this artist unjustly unknown to the general public and who, for more than twenty years, has exhibited alongside the biggest names in the most prestigious places of the art world -see awards-
Some sixty canvases are permanently displayed as well as sketches and various documents; his studio is symbolically reconstructed, thus allowing the visitor to enter his poetic and enchanting world. Striking portraits, dazzling or melancholy bouquets, "quiet lives", full of serenity, surround each other with magnificent landscapes of the Landes or any other region as he travels through France and many European countries (England, Spain, Italy,
