Église Saint-Martin d'Insos

The former parish of Insos, under the Ancien Régime, was under the seigneury of Cazeneuve for the temporal. After the revolution, it was attached to Préchac. This church, isolated in the open moor, was recently restored. The well-preserved Romanesque bedside is pierced with lancets and topped with a cornice with sculpted and historiated modillions. It has a beautiful gable bell tower with buttresses, military character, homogeneous of the fourteenth century. It receives to the north a turret containing a spiral staircase. The portal opens at the base, simple and elegant, and it includes three columns with impost, three vaults and an archivolt.
