As part of the European Heritage Days, Les Chantiers Tramasset welcomes the public with an artistic, cultural and poetic programme. Dating from 1837, the site will be highlighted and the team will offer visits at nightfall. It will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the association which perpetuates the practice of river and the traditional structure of marine.
On the agenda:
- 4.30pm: Siesta on the theme of water with Les Liseuses de Bordeaux
From the impassive river to the breaking wave, from the quiet bathing to the flood, the water will be told in several forms through texts by different authors (Jean Giono, Chantal Thomas, Wilfried N'Sondé, Dimitri Lipskerov...). To be comfortably installed, do not hesitate to bring floor mats or chaise longue, plaids and cushions. Nap open to all. - *18h00: guided tour of the site
* - 20h15 and 21h00: guided tour, at nightfall
- 9.30pm: concert drawn under the great hall, The Lights of the Fireflies of tAk and Demont
Sometimes called the light of the poor or the light of the shepherd, fireflies bring happiness to those who see them at night. But, like many animal and plant species, they are on the verge of disappearing because of light pollution in cities and water pollution. Yet they were a fascinating nocturnal strangeness and an immersive experience connecting us to the dawn of humanity through the same emotion.
During a concert, Adrien Demont recreates live on his drawing table the magic of these nocturnal appearances, driven by the atmospheres breathed by Takuma Shindo and his subtle melodies. A moment in suspense making us forget the frenzy of our current lifestyles, and remind us of the fragility and ephemeral nature of life.
Artistic creation and exhibition:
- Les Colosses - Carte blanche to Camille Mansir for an in situ artistic creation around the Coureau des Chantiers Tramasset.
The runners are part of the family of flat-bottomed boats that were used to transport goods on the river. Tramasset Yards launched the reconstitution of the «Henriette» last sloup running in Le Tourne and Langoiran until the 1970s. From the top of its rocks, specially designed for the conservation of its lines, visitors can admire its imposing frame and discover its history through an exhibition dedicated to it.
From August 29 to September 16, 2022, Les Chantiers Tramasset welcomes Camille Mansir, a visual artist and scenographer in artistic residency. Assisted by Mathias Maurin, they work for a development of the Running made to measure through a work of sculpture in bamboo bent, split, curved and braided. The dreamlike and maritime universe she initiated under the shipyard hall with the aerial swimming of the fish bank will continue towards the Run.
This failed colossus begins its metamorphosis... - 25 years of the association: the volunteers and members of the association propose an exhibition for the 25 years of the association.
