The Technicentre de Périgueux opens its doors on September 17, 2022. This day will allow visitors to discover behind the scenes of your trips by train!

The interest of the event is educational: discover all the workshops and the different trades that compose it.
Visitors come freely to explore all the workshops with the security measures put in place (barriers, marking, volunteers, etc.).
In each workshop will be exposed a historical part of the center in addition to explanations of the activity. Several accredited volunteers will be present in their respective workshops to talk about their background, their training, their profession or their evolution within the site.
Animations are also planned to satisfy everyone.
For children there will be a make-up workshop, a balloon sculptor, a bouncy castle and games.
For the parents, there will be in addition to the visit a raffle and a quiz (on the route of the Technicentre) with a reward for the winners (type chocolate package).
Finally for the whole family: a part restoration will be available to the visitors. A visit of a sleeper train is planned on the site, a small film about life in the Technicentre as well as a presentation of the trades and also a photo session.
Visitors will have the opportunity to submit their CVs if they wish, a recruitment booth will be provided for this purpose.
