Shipowner’s house built in 1643 by Joannis de Lohobiague. In 1660, for 40 days, Lohobiague Enea welcomed King Louis XIV, who had come to Saint-Jean-de-Luz to marry the Infante Marie-Thérèse of Spain.
In the same family since its construction, Lohobiague Enea, still inhabited, remains a house to live that has simply kept over the centuries, paintings, furniture and precious objects or everyday, left there by the fourteen successive generations that occupied it.
Presentation, on the route of the visit, of wax figures of the former Grévin Museum evoking the period of the royal wedding.
Numerous restoration works conducted by the family for more than forty years: interior decorations, roofs and facades, galleries, painted decoration of the Green Room. Third phase of restoration in 2019 of the French style ceiling of the Grand Salon."
