“Roll… and firm behind!” This was what the ticket controller shouted at the trolleybus driver in Limoges before the automatic machines arrived.
The concert: A life of music
In Limousin, as elsewhere, the small and large moments of daily life (work, the departure and return of soldiers, marriage, etc.) have always been an inexhaustible source of songs, in Occitan or French, and tunes to dance.
These traditional Limousin music and songs are reinterpreted by six musicians of today. The diatonic accordion, the hurdy-gurdy, the bagpipes, the violins and the percussions serve a joyful or more melancholic music, but always dynamic.
Roule… and ferme sings in French and Occitan, the melodies come from the traditional repertoire or more recent compositions of the band.
Limousin ball
The dances are mainly limousine origin: waltzes, polkas, stuffed, jumps, collective dances... for beginner dancers or more confirmed.

From the top of its hill, the old castle dominates the market town. His(Her,Its) construction commanded(ordered) by Jean de Salagnac, prothonotary of the Holy See, began in 1515\. This building presents architectural elements to character Renaissance, as the splendid front-door of the West tower. The castle is surrounded with the dry staves(moats), which today are elements integrated in the sported park surrounding the castle on three sides. The main facade of the castle gives on a terrace overhanging the village and offering a panoramic view on the campaign(countryside) limousine. Finally, the courtyard of the house offers a place of calmness in the shade of fig trees and is regularly the theatre of many cultural events.
