In 2022, a new tour route was set up with a new museum space dedicated to the wines of Monbazillac. This immersion in the heart of the largest sweet vineyard in the world will make you discover the secrets and specificities of this golden nectar, through its history, its terroir and its ancestral know-how.
The free and playful visit of the castle will immerse you in key periods of local history, revealing the links between Protestantism and the wine trade and tracing the daily life of a family at the castle during the French Revolution.
In the vaulted cellars of the castle, a space is dedicated to children to make them discover the culture of the vine. A playful journey enriched with puzzles in the form of a scripted game will allow children to develop their grape juice.
And, as always, each visit gives access to a tasting of the wines of the Cooperative Winery of Monbazillac, owner of the castle since 1960.
