Located on the 2nd floor of the City Hall, the Avranches Heritage Library has many printed works (about 23,000) from the 15th to the 19th centuries in its old collection, as well as 400 manuscripts, of which about 200 medieval coming mainly from the abbey of Mont Saint-Michel. Created around 1850, the place that hosts these treasures is a spectacle in itself.
