The Desert Manor, listed as a Historical Monument in 1928, was built at the beginning of the 16th century on behalf of a rich family of Honfleurais shipowners. The property had a farm with bread oven, apple orchard, press, stables, haylofts… The tower overlooking the building made it possible to watch the return of the boats on the estuary. Its distinctive silhouette, structure and materials testify to the know-how and importance of this building at the time.
