In the 12th century, Raoul de L'Isles made a donation of Mosles to the Abbey of Cerisy. It built a church. The building was enlarged with a nave and a bell tower in the fourteenth century.
The tithe collected for the church was donated two thirds to the abbey of Cerisy, the remaining third going to the parish priest of the church. The priest was appointed by the abbey.
The building has been classified as a historical monument since December 27, 1931\. In 1930, restoration work was carried out. On June 6, 1944, during the landing of Normandy, shells damaged the church, including the bell tower, which had to be restored. A sacristy was added behind the choir in the 20th century.
