The castle, composed of a building body flanked by two square towers, includes a central keep. The keep was built in 1404 by Guillaume de Méheudin. It is remarkable for its architecture and irregular symmetry, with its jaws, mullioned windows, wrought iron window grille and gargoyles. To reach the room of the fairy, it is necessary to climb a spiral staircase located in the very thickness of the walls. Vaulted with bricks, this room is decorated with four pointed arches in white stone with granite foundations. This room features a chimney with unusual shapes and a pavement of terracotta tiles. At the top of the tower, one can see the footprint of the little foot of the fairy on a granite niche (32,33 cm)
