The library(bookcase) is free for the inhabitants of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, as well as to the beneficiaries of preferential price lists(rates). She(It) possesses 240 000 documents which can be borrowed or consulted on the spot: novels, comic strips, children's books, young people and teenagers, magazines(reviews) all types of, CD, DVD, partitions(scores), instruments, specialised books... And lately, the subscribers can also borrow records(disks) vinyls.
