Sainte Céronne-lès-Mortagne village of 254 inhabitants has a 12th century church built on the principle of a Roman basilica. After two years of restoration, the church of Sainte Céronne reopens its doors. These colossal underground works concerned the structure, the roof (magnificent variegation), the masonry elements (very degraded buttresses, cornices, surmounted), and the restoration of the entire sacristy. Members of the Association for the Safeguarding of Cultural Heritage will welcome you and guide you in the discovery of the church. A slideshow will be presented and commented on to show the scope of the work done.

Classified church of the 12th century built on the tomb of Sainte Céronne. Orientation North-South. Vast nave powerfully counterfortified in the North, followed by a choir finished in apse. The High Bell Tower is extended by a built-up roof, pierced by dormer windows added to the Renaissance. Inside, remarkable altarpiece of the 17th century, panelled frame with entraits and painted hallmarks, baptismal font (ISMH), polychrome statue of Sainte Céronne en habit de moniale (ISMH).
