In the old cloister of the bins welcome aromatic, medicinal, magical plants. In the chapel panels evoke the beginnings of the monastic garden and the plants of the cloister.

Association culturelle du Prieuré Saint Gabriel

On the site of the former cloister, twelve bins host aromatic, medicinal, magical, tinctorial, vegetable or edible flowers. In the chapel panels evoke the beginnings of the monastic garden with Charlemagne and the Abbey of SaintGall, model of monastic gardens, Saint Fiacre the patron of gardeners and present the plants of the cloister. The scenography includes a small animated film and a board game for children.

Founded in 1058 by the Benedictines of Fécamp, the Priory of Saint Gabriel is essentially an agricultural place. It is where high justice is rendered. The church, of which only the choir remains today is a pure jewel of Norman art, is owned by the department while the buildings, owned by a family SCI, now host a Third-place.
