The church of Saint Jean-Baptiste de Boulleville was under the patronage of Abbé de Sainr-Pierre de Préaux by gift of William the Conqueror in 1040. The choir, built of rubble and supported by contrforts dates from the twelfth century. The northern wall of the nave was built of flint and stones in the 16th century. The six windows on the side of the church date from this period. The western brick wall and the small square brick tower surmounted by a structural bell tower date from 1774.
