The Museum of Fine Arts of Caen, located in the heart of the castle of Guillaume-le-Conquérant, in a contemporary building, the Museum of Fine Arts is among the most important museums in France in terms of European painting of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries (France, Italy, Flanders, Holland), while its collection of engravings makes it one of the must-see places.
