With the rise of the Franco-German tactical transport squadron on the BA 105, several dozen German airmen came to settle with their families in Evreux. The European Heritage Days are an opportunity for our German friends to discover the cultural offer that the City of Evreux puts at their disposal.

Built thanks to the legacy of Olivier Delhomme by the architects Gossart and Ladrange, our Town Hall corresponds well to the artistic tastes of this flourishing economic period of the late nineteenth, with, for example, the introduction of civil stained glass in public buildings, the neo-classical style of its architecture. The desire of the architects was to make the City Hall, a real palace dedicated to a 3rd Republic still very young.
