On the occasion of the 39th European Heritage Days, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs opens its doors for guided tours in French sign language (LSF) and invites you to come and discover the Quai d'Orsay.
On the program: discovery of the missions and professions of the ministry, meeting with the agents, visit of the fairs, presentation of diplomatic archives, musical animations of the Republican Guard...
Prepare now for your guided tour in French Sign Language (LSF) and book online: dedicated slots are offered on each of the two days. Choose your arrival time and enter your name. You will then receive a confirmation email with your ticket to be presented at the entrance (please present yourself 15 minutes before the departure of the visit).
Important: Tickets are registered and a piece of ID will be required. Please ensure you register with the name on your ID.
The Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs reserves the right to refuse access to certain participants, even if they are pre-registered.
Luggage, beverages, food and pets are not allowed.

Begun in 1844, completed in 1855 under Napoleon III, the hotel of the Minister of Foreign Affairs is representative of the decorative art of the Second Empire mixing elements inspired by Antiquity, the Renaissance and the classical era. A place of remembrance, the hotel is the setting for major international negotiations, such as the 1856 Treaty of Paris, which ended the Crimean War, and the 1919 Versailles Treaty, which concluded the First World War. It was also in this place that Robert Schuman, then Minister of Foreign Affairs, pronounced on 9 May 1950 his famous founding declaration of European unity. Place of residence, the hotel hosted, until 1973, sovereigns and heads of state on an official visit to France. Among these memorable visits, that of the British sovereigns in 1938 which gave rise to important work including the creation of bathrooms, known as the king and queen.
