Inaugurated at Le Bourget in 1975, the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace de Paris-Le Bourget is one of the world’s first aeronautical museums because of its age and the wealth of its collections. These collections are exhibited in the terminal, designed by architect Georges Labro, inaugurated in 1937 and listed in the Inventory of Historic Monuments. This emblematic building of the airport architecture of the 1930s is located on a place full of history: 1915: Creation of the airfield of Bourget 1919: 1st commercial flight Paris-London 1927: Departure of Nungesser and Coli aboard the Oiseau Blanc/ Arrival of Lindbergh from New-York 1930: Departure of Costes and Bellonte for New-York aboard the Question Mark 1933: Foundation of Air France And every two years since 1953: Air Show.
