This property of one of the natural daughters of Louis XIV passed under Louis XV to the Grand Master of the King’s House who had it renovated and rebuilt in 1900.
The Town Hall consists of two distinct parts: along the rue du Général de Gaulle, looking at the castle, is a low building preceded by a wide staircase. It is the first town hall, installed in 1790 in the former hotel of Conti, passed under Louis XV to the Grand Master of the King’s House who had it renovated.
Woodwork from this period is preserved in the modern part of the building. This one, which looks at the avenue de Paris, is an imposing neo-Louis XIII building due to H. Legrand and dated 1897-1900.
Food, bicycles, scooters and pousettes are not accepted inside the City Hall. A tent for the pousettes will be present at the foot of the building.
