On the occasion of this new edition of the European Heritage Days, the Defence Communication and Audiovisual Production Establishment (ECPAD) opens its doors for a discovery of its missions and heritage.
On the agenda:

• Visit accompanied by about 2 hours during which the visitors will discover, with our experts, the history of the fort of Ivry and the presentation of the trades of the ECPAD. They will also attend demonstrations and workshops related to the profession of image soldier, and participate in a quiz related to the school of image trades (EMI). Finally, a visit to the fort’s casemates, where the exceptional audiovisual and photographic archives of the Ministry of Armed Forces (15 million photos and 94,000 hours of films) are kept, will complete the tour.
• At the end of this guided visit, visitors will have free access to the photo exhibition “Les Français au travail, 1945 – 1980”, view films from the institution’s holdings and access the ECPAD Media Library where documentalists will present the archives held there.
• The visit is not recommended for children under 6 years.
