The Piette Room is unlike any other museum room in the world. This exhibition hall is first of all remarkable for what it contains: a fabulous collection of tools, weapons and prehistoric art objects discovered in the 19th century by Édouard Piette during excavations in the Pyrenees. Many masterpieces are on display, including the famous «Dame à la Capuche» discovered in Brassempouy, in the Landes. The scenography is unchanged since the 19th century. The visitor embarks in a real time machine for a unique visit!
