Projection Of your life
Contemporary Czech composer Kryštof Mařatka made a film about his father, Zdeněk Mařatka, on the occasion of his 95th birthday. Touching, funny and melancholic, the film traces the life of the Mařatka, an illustrious Bohemian family: Josef Mařatka, a sculptor and student of Rodin, is the father of Zdeněk Mařatka, a doctor who has known eight different political regimes. Based on philosophical reflection and moving exchanges between several generations of one and the same family, the entire 20th century is evoked through the confidences gathered.
Kryštof Mařatka will present his film.
Location: Austerlitz Auditorium
Duration: 80 minutes
The screening will be followed by a concert in the Grand Salon of the Musée de l'Armée on Sunday, September 18 at 4:30 pm.

So many spaces to discover to travel in history, from the Middle Ages to today, and meet the great men, but also the anonymous soldiers, who marked it. The museum occupies a large part of the Hôtel des Invalides built under Louis XIV under the responsibility of the Minister of War, the Marquis de Louvois, for"to receive and house all soldiers and officers who are both crippled, old and obsolete and to ensure there a sufficient fund for their subsistence". The buildings, whose construction began in 1671, on the plans of Liberal Bruant (1637-1697) welcome the first boarders in 1674\. The
