Come and meet the painter who tells himself over a staged route punctuated with digital animations! Hologram, virtual reality helmets, videos, projections... technology is at the service of art for an immersive journey in the heart of Renoir’s impressionist years spent on the banks of the Seine between 30 and 40 years. In the company of the artist, you will discover his history as inventor of impressionism alongside his friend Monet. A unique historical and artistic adventure!

Fournaise is a mythical guinguette located on the Impressionist Island in Chatou, in the West of Paris, 10 km away. It only takes a few minutes by RER A from Paris to stroll along the banks of the Seine around the restaurant immortalized by Pierre-PierreAuguste Renoir in 1881 through his famous masterpiece the «Lunch of the Boaters». How many celebrities passed through Chatou… Maupassant, Caillebotte, Degas, Vlaminck, Derain, Paul Poiret et qui sait Monet, Berthe Morisot, Édouard Manet… Lunch with friends on the balcony of the Maison Fournaise. The museum, located in the part that once belonged to the hotel, presents during the winter its collection that retraces the history of the house Fournaise through paintings of little masters of the banks of the Seine or the memories of canoeists such as the most famous Guy de Maupassant.
