As part of the European Heritage Days, the Czech Centre will open its normally inaccessible premises and present the stories and hidden treasures of four Czech and Moravian cities – Brno, Broumov, České Budějovice and Liberec – who are candidates for the title of European Capital of Culture 2028. The programme of European Heritage Days at the Czech Centre – exhibitions, visits, screenings, book sales – will begin on Friday evening with a concert by the Czech singer Emma Smetana and, in the first part, Tony Tixier trio from a French candidate city, Clermont-Ferrand (in cooperation with the festival Jazz en tête).
