Raising Your Eyes Operation at the National Institute of Art History
As part of the Arts and Cultural Education program, the Institut national d'histoire de l'art (INHA) is hosting two general second classes at the Brioude-Bonnefont agricultural high school in Fontannes (Haute-Loire), as part of the “Raise your eyes!” , in its prestigious library. This is INHA’s second participation in the joint event organised by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of National Education and Youth - within the framework of the Arts and Cultural Education (EAC) programme - thus opening one of Paris' most emblematic heritage places to those high school students who worked during the year around the work of Vera Molnár, a Hungarian-born French artist born in Budapest on 5 January 1924.
By participating in the “Look up!” , the INHA offers these budding artists to discover an exceptional heritage place in Paris. It will also be for them to approach the original works of Vera Molnár whose work they know only through reproductions. This experience will be an opportunity to discover an important iconic heritage activity: the conservation of prints.
