The Curie Museum is located on the ground floor of Marie Curie’s former laboratory at the Radium Institute, a historic site preserved for more than half a century. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the museum’s renovation, discover the transformation of this place during the 20th and 21st centuries. The story begins with that of the last research laboratory led first by Marie Curie, then by her collaborator, the chemist André Debierne, and finally successively by her daughter and son-in-law, Irene and Frédéric Joliot-Curie. A story that continues today… Through an exhibition of photographs from our archives, go on a journey through time and witness the birth of a museum.
