On the occasion of the European Matrimoine and Heritage Days, the Société des Gens de Lettres is very pleased to welcome Nelly Pezelet for a

Reading(-show) of the Fables de Marie de France.

These two-voice readings,

coordinated by the association "HF Île-de-France" for the Days of the Matrimoine, will be held in the gardens of the Hotel de Massa. 15 to 20 fables from the collection translated by Françoise Morvan will be read to you by Nelly Pezelet (actor-director) and Mathieu Enderlin (actor), and accompanied by the external gaze of Caroline Laffon (assistant director). To use the words of Françoise Morvan who translated them, the 103 fables of Marie de France are today «almost unknown». The Mnemosyne Company wishes to give them to be heard, to share the spirit, the finesse, the humour and the wisdom of these fables, to make them accessible to all the public - by small «sessions» of 30 minutes, during the Days of the Matrimoine - Heritage. Come and discover this work and share this time of rich, dynamic, playful and lively listening, on Saturday**, September 17 at 3pm, 4pm and 5pm** in the garden of the Hotel de Massa (SGDL)
Duration: 30 minutes Production: Mnémosyne Théâtre-poursuite Partners: La Société des Gens de Lettres, H-F Ile-de-France Expected audience: 20 to 40 people maximum per reading

Formerly rue de la Boétie, the Hotel de Massa was transferred stone to stone in a plot of the garden of the Observatory in 1927-1928\. The Art Deco furniture designed by Maurice Dufrène, (director of the Maîtrise des Galeries Lafayette) in 1929 is also listed as a Historical Monument.
