St-Apollinaire de Salins church

A rural church, a "lasting" witness to the history of men on their way to eternity.

Welcome to Salins, a village in the south of the Brie. Its church, with its history, its recumbents, its tombstones, its stained glass windows, its paintings, its statues of saints, its banner and its banner closet, etc... await you for a moment when the heritage, made of hands of men, will become a "lasting heritage" by all the treasures it conceals.
Parishioners will be happy to welcome you there, explanatory notes made by them will complete their information.
A country church, standing and proud, lovingly maintained, inscribed in the "lasting"!

Church built in the shape of a cross with a bell tower with 4 gables. In 1485, a porch is added and houses the statue of the patron saint (stone carved at the end of the thirteenth century). The choir, adorned with woodwork, is enclosed by a wrought iron grille and the main altar is surmounted by an altarpiece. In its southern part, one can see two recumbents of the thirteenth century in stone carved in half-hump.
