The conference
The theme "Saint-Etienne de Meaux Cathedral/ Saint-Médard Church of Lizy-sur-Ourcq: architectural and historical twins?" is part of the sustainable heritage through the longevity of these buildings over time. The invited speaker will try to compare the church of Saint-Médard in Lizy-sur-Ourcq and the cathedral of Saint-Etienne in Meaux in their historical aspects as well as from an architectural point of view.
The speaker
A doctor of modern and contemporary history, Benoît Casaert has been a guide-lecturer at the City of Meaux since 2020 and a conference director since 2018. His various interventions are available online via his YouTube channel "
Welcome
The conference will take place in the Chastagnol room (above the Red House room) at 3.30 pm. After his presentation, the speaker will answer questions from the audience before sharing the glass of friendship.
