Emblematic district of the new Creteil of the 1970s, the Palace owes its name to the presence of the Palace of Justice.
Built between 1972 and 1975, it is characterized by the curved lines of its buildings in the shape of a wave, due to Louis de Hoym de Marien, and especially by its famous buildings «Les choux et les épis de maïs», works of Gérard Grandval, adept of vegetable architecture.
Present in many architectural manuals, the "quartier des Choux" has been used several times as a setting for filming.
