Following the recent move of this summer 2022, two-thirds of the heritage collections of the Heure joyeuse collection are now nestled in the heart of the building, in basements specifically dug during the architectural project.
We invite you to visit these conservation shops, usually inaccessible to the general public, and to discover some treasures. It will also be an opportunity to discuss with librarians the notions of preventive conservation and heritage value of works, within the framework of the national theme of this edition of the European Heritage Days, "sustainable heritage".
Free access from 1 pm to 6 pm, on Saturdays and Sundays, in the reading room of the heritage collection: a selection of remarkable heritage documents and treasures from our collection presented by librarians.

The Françoise-Sagan media library joins an emblematic place of Parisian history(story), Square Saint-Lazare, which exists for the XIIth century. First leper hospital then Congregation of the Mission of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, he(it) is transformed into place of detention under Revolution, then into prison-hospital for women at the beginning of the XIXth century. The current building(ship) is what stays of the hospital established in the XIXth century by Louis-Pierre Baltard.
