The Monfort Théâtre is a cultural establishment of the City of Paris located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.
Since September 2009, under the direction of Laurence de Magalhaes and Stéphane Ricordel, founders of the Sauts Arts company, the Monfort theatre is dedicated to contemporary creation and the discovery of emerging companies.
Before hosting a theatre, the place occupied by the Monfort was successively dedicated to the vineyard, the slaughterhouses, a horse market, the circus.... The Monfort Theatre, built by architect Claude Parent, has the amazing shape of a hexagonal pyramid 23 meters high overlooking the Georges Brassens Park.
