Stéphane Paumier proposes to introduce you to Japanese calligraphy. Discover the different Japanese alphabets (kanji, Katakana and Kana), the use of Sumi-e (Japanese ink), calligraphy brushes and Japanese paper (Washi).
At the end of the workshop, you will leave with your written production!

The Maison-atelier Foujita, small rural residence, with its garden, its living rooms with decor and singular furniture and its workshop, invites us to enter into the intimate universe of the famous painter of the School of Paris, artist with multiple facets willingly qualified “magician” by his contemporaries. On the top floor, in the workshop, brushes, pigments, models, canvases, wall painting, everything remained in place and testifies to the work of this artist between two cultures.
