The Museum of Music is associated with the city of Tulle, which is preparing for the opening in 2023 of the Cité de l'accordéon et des Patrimoines, the largest collection of free reed instruments in Europe, and the Maugein Accordion Manufacture, which holds a unique know-how.
Accordion Pop celebrates a popular instrument with multiple richness both in its design and in its repertoire thanks to concerts (musette, jazz, classical) and the broadcast of the documentary L'accordéon Maugein, un souffle centenaire by Medhi Lallaoui. Accordion presentations and manufacturing demonstrations alternate throughout the weekend.
With Sébastien Farge, Gwénola Maheux, Rémi Sallard, accordions, Laurent Leyssenne, Philippe Parant, guitars, Jacques Schab, piano, Richard Brandao, Christophe Sirgues, Maugein Accordion Factory.
