À propos du lieu

Brasserie Rivière
62,64 rue d'Arras 62173 Rivière
  • Pas-de-Calais
  • Hauts-de-France
The sugar mill was founded around 1865 and was bought by Hyacinthe Caron in 1908 as a brewery. In September 1915, the brewery was within cannon range of the front and suffered considerable damage, especially during the Battle of the Moulin de Ficheux. In 1919 Hyacinthe Caron and his son Maxime, who had returned from the war, put it back in working order with all the difficulties that one can imagine at the time. Hyacinthe died suddenly in 1920, when his eldest son Maxime, assisted by his younger brother Auguste, continued the activity until 1957\. Today François Delplace is owner and with a group of friends they have revived the brewery BCA2- La Rivière.
